I pre-ordered the N900 back in September, and after a looong looong wait I finally got it.
It is the best phone I ever had or saw.I might not be perfect for everyone, but if you are looking for a device that will keep you connected all the time,this is the one to get!
It doesn,t have too many applications yet,but they will arrive.I never liked resistive screens, but this one is extremely responsive!
Best part for me are the multitasking possibilities,the browser,the integration of Skype and Gtalk and the open source operating system.
The GPS is very fast too(but it could be better), and the camera does it job (good enough for a 5MP).
If you like a more simple phone with an elegant design...then you might like the HTC or iphone better, but otherwise this is really a fantastic device!!
Finally we can have the Nokia phone that we have been expecting!!
